There could be several reasons why your Pteranodon is not being tamed. One possibility is that you are not using the correct food item to tame it. Pteranodons prefer raw meat as their preferred food source for taming. Another reason could be that you are not giving it enough time to eat the food and become tamed. Make sure to keep an eye on the taming progress bar and ensure that the Pteranodon is not being attacked or disturbed during the taming process. Additionally, the level of the Pteranodon and the taming effectiveness can also affect the taming time, so be patient and continue to feed it until it is successfully tamed. **
