Stem cell donation involves donating blood-forming stem cells, which are used to treat patients with blood cancers and other blood disorders. This process typically involves a more extensive screening and evaluation process, as well as a commitment to undergo a medical procedure to collect the stem cells. Blood donation is a simpler and quicker process, usually involving a brief screening and the donation of blood through a needle in the arm. **

One can typically get a new blood donation card by visiting a local blood donation center or blood drive event. These facilities often provide donors with a new card after each donation. Additionally, some blood donation organizations may offer the option to request a new card online through their website or by contacting their customer service. **
